High Finance Woes

I can't offer any insights or solutions to the financial, so called, crisis. I am too young and undereducated being just out of High School. I did take an economics course. That doesn't qualify me to offer a knowlegable opinion on what has taken place these last 9 days or so in Congress. I am however, a newly registered voter who is watching the news and reading the blogs. I am not impressed. In fact, I am angry!

Post Convention Situation

Well, it has been an interesting week since the close of the conventions. McCain and Obama are back to within the margin of error of each other by most polls. I think many of the pundits have it right, that Gov. Palin provided an energizing boost to the Republican Party, but, the race for the moderate and independent voter is between Senators Obama and McCain, not Sen. Biden and Gov. Palin. It looks to me like a squeaker election is shaping up.

I just finished watching Sarah Palin's speech at the Republican National Convention. She has renewed my interest in a race that had me jaded for the past several months.
