PoliWatch is designed to create a political community of discussion, debate, solutions, organizations, and creative, intelligent published ideas which may have appeal to others.
It is therefore, our first and primary policy that participants remain courteous and respectful of each other, personally.
Participants will, at times, be critical as all get out of some ideas, political positions, or affiliations, but, that critique should NEVER extend to a PoliWatch participant's person.
In other words, if critique is called for, Critique the Message, NOT the Messenger.
Check anger and hostility at the door. It persuades no one, and blocks solutions. PoliWatch's primary focus is on solutions.
Do NOT use PoliWatch for spam, as a billboard for private interests, or for materials not general audience rated or within the scope of PoliWatch's focus which is politics. All materials in violation will either not be published in the first place, or be promptly removed if coming from a trusted contributor.
PoliWatch is non-partisan. Therefore, the management will not enforce rules or policies based on partisanship, and such rules and policies shall extend to all participants regardless of political persuasion.
PoliWatch reserves the right to deny access to its site to anyone at the sole discretion of its management. All persons whose writings appear on PoliWatch relinquish all rights to copyright or ownership of that material as it appears on PoliWatch. That said, if any person requests to have their writing removed from PoliWatch's web site, such requests will be honored in as timely a fashion as feasible.
PoliWatch reserves the right to make minor edits of any submitted writing for spelling, grammar, and general audience acceptance. PoliWatch will never intentionally alter the meaning or content of writing and will refuse to publish, rather than edit, content or meaning.
However, please note that PoliWatch has no control over what materials reside on other internet index services and websites quoting materials from the PoliWatch website. Removal of material from the PoliWatch web site does not remove such materials from the internet.
